This gift guide covers gifts for men, women, and kids. I have been reviewing all the things I've bought on Amazon for as long as I have used Amazon, and have a comprehensive list I would recommend and buy again. So, if you are on the hunt for some gift ideas, I've got you covered.
For the Men
So, I find gift guides for men strange. They usually have joke or gag gifts, barbecue items, cuff links, and ties. None of these kinds of gifts work for my husband. I want to share the things he has loved to receive over the years and still uses today.
Flashlight, if your husband is like mine, and is pretty handy at fixing things, he probably has a flashlight in his pocket. This one is now two years old, and still works as great as the day we bought it. It's rechargeable; so, there is no need to replace the batteries when it is running low on power. Just plug it in when it needs charging, which is not often. This is the perfect pocket flashlight for the handyman in your life.
Pocket knife, my husband uses a knife daily.
Clothes for Men
Flannel, size up in these flannel shirts. These are perfect for cold weather and look great and can be worn to work as well. They are a slim fit, my husband usually wears a large; so, I would size up to an extra-large for him.
Sweatshirt, the coziest sweatshirt that fits those broad shoulders. This sweater looks great. True to size, I got him a large, and it fits great.
Smartwool Men's Base Layer Top, thermals are a must during Utah winters. These by Smartwool are the coziest and true to size.
Smartwool Men's Base Layer Bottom
I also got him a Smartwool hat that he wears daily to walk the dog or when he goes for a hike in the cold.
Timber! t-shirts and sweatshirts, if you're looking for something more unique, these shirts and sweatshirts are my favorite.
Charging station for tablets and phones
Small tripod for phone
Airpods pro, my husband has these and loves them. He likes the noise cancellation, and the fit of the buds similar to earplugs.
Airpods, I have these, and love them. I prefer the way these fit in my ear. They rest nestled in the shape of the outer ear like the original apple earbuds do.

Clothes for Women
Water shoes, these are super comfortable and feel like socks. They are thin and light. I wear an 8.5 shoe and got the size 9-10 women and like the way they feel. I also tried on one size smaller, and it was too small to help give you an idea of sizing. These are great for beach and lake days.
Workout shorts with pockets
Snow Bib Overalls, these are great, because they come in different lengths: short, regular, and long. These are comfortable and keep me warm and dry on cold ski days.
Fleece lined leggings with pockets
Snow Boots, comfortable and keep my feet warm and dry in the snow, these boots fit true to size.
Smartwool Women's Base Layer Top
Smartwool Women's Base Layer Bottom
Smartwool knit hat
Fleece ponytail hat with earmuffs
Denim fleece lined leggings
Carhartt fleece lined flannel
Sweater with brass snaps
Clothes for Kids
Carter's long sleeve shirts. I ordered size 4T for my three-year-old, and they fit great with a little room to grow.
Socks for toddlers, the sizing on these is a little confusing. I ordered the 5-7x for my three-year-old, and they fit with a little room to grow. The sizing confusion is definitely worth it. It is hard to find comfortable socks that are not too tight around the ankle, and will stay on.
Leveret pajamas, these pajamas are the bee's knees. I have continued to love them, and get the next size up each time my oldest out grows his current ones. The sizing on these is weird as well, he wore size 8 years as a four year old, but these are worth the sizing confusion. They still look great after two years of washing and will be worn by my youngest. They are soft and comfortable, warm, but not too hot to sleep in.
Carter's 3-Pack Cotton Footed Pajamas, perfect pajamas for toddlers after they grow out of a swaddle or sleep sack.
Water shoes for toddlers, these are great for beach and lake days to help protect little toes from hot, sunny sand, and walking on rocks. I got the size 8.5-9 M US Toddler for my three-year-old, and size 11-11.5 M US Toddler for my five-year-old. They are comfortable and stay on their feet all day.
Snow boots, true to size, I got one size up for my kids; so, they could get more time out of them. I got size 13 Little Kid for my five-year-old and an 8.5 for my three-year-old.
Waterproof mittens, I got size 2-3 years for my three-year-old, and size 4-5 years for my five-year-old. This is the second winter they have worn them, and they still fit well.
Warm coat, my five-year-old has this same jacket in red. We got him an XS and it still fits great, big enough to layer under, but not too big.
Smartwool socks, I got size small for my three-year-old and size 3-6x for my five-year-old.
Knit hat, lined with fleece, comes with scarf
Target's Cat and Jack brand of clothing is my favorite for kids. Their stuff holds up to years of washing and looks great and feels soft and comfortable.
For Expecting Parents
Keekaroo Peanut Changer
Love to Dream Swaddle UP Transition Bag, I used these swaddles once my baby was too big for the SwaddleMe ones. This zips up and keeps baby snug, and can transition to arms free by removing the little sleeves, and continues to serve as a sleep sack that keeps baby's legs covered and warm.
Simple Joys by Carter's 5-Pack Long-Sleeve Bodysuit
SwaddleMe Original Swaddle, the swaddle every parent needs in the hospital, these swaddles have velcro; so, it is a lot easier to swaddle baby snug without worrying about a blanket getting loose and baby getting arms free.
Munchkin Stainless Steel 360 Sippy Cup, the lid is tough to unscrew off of these to refill with water. To get around this, I pop off then silicone part covering the plastic strainer and refill through the strainer. Otherwise these cups are great, spill proof cups that have lasted a couple years.
I love books. I'm sharing my favorite novels and books for kids. Many of these are the first book of a series. So, you can start your loved one with the first book, or get the whole series for the book worm in your life.

Paint brushes, the paint brushes that come in the watercolor paint tray are not useable. These inexpensive brushes are miles better and retain their shape, so they can be used over and over for years as long as they are taken care of. To take care of brushes, just rinse any paint out when your little one is done creating, do not leave sitting in a cup of water. Gently wash the fibers with a small amount of dish soap and water, dry with a paper towel, and store with the bristles pointing up.
Watercolor paper, I love this watercolor paper. It is a thicker, more durable paper, that can hold up to getting soaked by toddler brushes, and still retains it's shape. So, you will be able to keep and frame your little one's masterpieces. This watercolor paper is thick enough, that your little one can draw or paint on the back when the front is dry.

Tri-write pencils for toddlers, these pencils are thicker and three-sided, designed for little hands.
