We got our three year old the Uptown Natural Play Kitchen by Kid Kraft. He loves to pretend and act out whatever Mom and Dad are doing, including cooking. Let me start by saying this kitchen took two and a half hours to build. It comes with a lot of pieces, but once we put it together, we we're happy with the result. So, be prepared to spend an afternoon or evening putting this together.

It all came in one big box and was packaged really well. I did remove the towel bar that slides into the two holes that can be seen on the right side of the kitchen, because both my kids would take it out and either wack each other or the wall. If it wasn't easily removable it could have stayed.

It looks great and better quality than other kitchens we looked at. It is taller than other kitchens too, which I was looking for since this was for my three year old who is tall. It is a large kitchen, but it doesn't take up too much room. It has a lot of fun compartments and doors for my kids to open and close: a fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, and dishwasher. The other kitchens we looked at that had just as many doors were a lot larger and took up more space due to being an L-shape.

This was perfect for my kiddo who loves to pretend to cook and gives him a place to safely play and act like a grown up. Before I would need to double check that he hadn't put anything in the real oven and make sure he didn't put a pot of plastic blocks on a hot burner on the real stove. This way he has a place to cook all day, and he can help me in the grown up kitchen when I'm there to help.

It's been fun watching him play. It also has a phone, sink, faucet, shelf, and stove top. There are dials that he can turn for both the stove and oven.

This kitchen can be found on Amazon for around $160 or Target for $135, but sometimes the price changes. We were able to get ours for $100 at Target which I think is a deal for how durable it feels. So, I would watch for when they go on sale or the price drops on Amazon.
